About the Health Sciences Events Calendar

The Calendar of Events is a listing of health sciences-related events that take place at the University of Florida Health Science Center, Shands at the University of Florida, or are sponsored by units within the HSC.

Only faculty and staff of the University of Florida can add events to the calendar database. All event listings in the Health Science Center calendar database can be accessed by and are subject to modification by staff members in the HSC Office of News and Communications.

The News and Communications Office reserves the right to delete or modify event listings that are deemed inappropriate.

How do I get my event added to the calendar?

One-Time Event Entry:

If you only need to enter an event once or very infrequently, you may contact the News and Communications office at 273-5811 or send an e-mail request to bpowers@ufl.edu and your event will be listed. If you would like to enter your own events into the database, you will need to register as a "calendar client".

To Become a Calendar Client:

If you would like to become a calendar client so that you can enter events into the database for your group or department, you must be registered in the calendar client database. To register, please complete the Calendar Registration Form. Once you are registered and approved you will be able to access the Calendar Maintenance Application to add or modify listings of your events.
